People in pain

I will start by being positive and say that if we help the poor and the needy then God will help us. This is because He wants to encourage us to love each other and does not want people in pain:

“give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”
Luke 6:38 ESV

We should do the above in faith and with the right heart though e.g. pray for wisdom as to how you can help the needy and then do it in faith and with a selfless heart.

On the other hand Jesus (the lion of Judah as described in the Word) said that He can also love us in a tough love way:

  • See this post: Father – cuddly love OR tough love?
  • CS Lewis in the Chronicles of Narnia noted that Aslan (Jesus the lion of Judah) is not a tame lion.
  • Hebrews 12:5. A pharaphrase of this verse is that Jesus disciplines us if we are naughty because He loves us. It is to teach us and to nuture us. Just like when your Dad smacked your hand when you were little for putting it too near the fire. He saved you burning yourself for the rest of your life.

I am not the only one who is alone and afraid but see this post:

Freedom?

As a principle, other people can benefit from this post too. This is also sound biblical understanding so be cautious of your heart and see how you can genuinely love your neighbour which is the greatest commandment as it is the same as loving God.

Your a human and you were made to love so get healthy, happy and help someone in need.
