Proverbs 3:13 Blessed is the person who finds wisdom, the person who finds understanding.
Thats what the Word says and the Word is Jesus and Jesus gave this to us as He loves us and wants to protect us.
Open your bible and see the book of Proverbs is right in the middle. Understand the love letter of the bible. The world with its science and psychology is advanced now e.g. the introduction of the microchip has had a massive effect, maybe beyond what is shown on TV.
Dont wonder off into conspiracies as you might get distracted from the gospel but do know that we have a sophisticated foe who has very much blinded the eyes of the un- believer (we love and forgive our enemies BTW) thus we need to see the world how God sees it in order to guard our faith.
“The Lord brought me forth as the first of his works, before his deeds of old; I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world came to be.
Proverbs 8:22-23 NIV
How does a Christian stand against a militant Atheist using psychology to make you snap. First you understand that the bible says the world hates you, then you get out of that situation and avoid it in future. You know its normal too. Why did it happen. The world is in a mess right now (look what has to be reported on TV despite fake news) and people are blaming God (God loves us BTW).
Wisdom and understanding go hand in hand and is strength.
Please Brothers and Sisters pray for a constant spirit wisdom and dont get addicted to the TV (lots of sub-conscious programming that apposes the Word). Read and understand the deep riddle of the Proverb one at a time. Try a Christian channel called TBN. Available on Freeview. It is very good. UCB on DAB radio is superb also.
Wisdom is the application of knowledge. Not just learning facts but applying them correctly.
You can only be wise if God chooses to bless you with wisdom:
Proverbs 2:6 Wisdom is from God and from His lips come knowledge and understanding.
Check out this Proverb:
Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
Proverbs 27:5 ESV
We can read and understand that this is true but ask yourself the question why open rebuke is better than hidden love. Understanding Proverbs properly by pondering them will help you gain a spirit of wisdom. Ponder by imagining each of the two situations. This way of pondering the Proverb often reveals other interesting hidden wisdom. If God made the world in His wisdom then Brother and Sister, wisdom is strength. It is worth more than gold.
Proverb Ponderings Please 😀 Three Pennies (3 P’s) for your thoughts gives you priceless diamonds:
for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.
Proverbs 8:11 ESV
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5 ESV
Yes, still say it in your heart to have faith but at the same time do not be afraid of understanding things. Do not shy away from it as otherwise we might discard very useful understanding that we get through the Holy Spirit after reading Proverbs.
I want you to have a spirit of wisdom that you carry with you to protect you. Like when you put your reading glasses on, feel clever and impress people with big words said in the exact right way. Do not become a know it all with a chip on your shoulder though. That will not help you.
I now expect you to have an advanced understanding of the 3000 year old ancient scroll of Enlightment. You should have broken the seal with method of your wise elders. Only messing.
Understanding is wisdom and wisdom is prudence. Prudence can feel amazing when you see it in action. Buy frozen pizzas for your freezer and put extra toppings you can add in your fridge instead of spending £10 a go at your local pizza shop. You have money left over and you have custom built pizzas. Once you have had the last bite of your frozen pizza, you taste how good prudence is. The taste of prudence has its own unique feeling actually.
Please ponder what else you can apply pizza theory to.
I am trying to advertise wisdom to you with Proverbs that really say what wisdom is like. I want you to be wise as wisdom will protect you in these dangerous times:
for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you, delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,
Proverbs 2:10-12 ESV
Now a vital tool for getting through confusion is the DUWD. The DUWD is Don’t Understand then Write it Down. Pronounced “duh wood” btw 😋 Get a piece of blank A4 paper, put it portrait way up, put the question you are struggling with at the top. Draw a line down the middle and write the reasons for and against the question on either side with ratings from one to ten of how good they are. Add it up at the bottom and if you have a good score (which you usually get), then you have your answer. Put your answer in a Stronghold Buster. See my post on that:
