Prudence and her ways are a good thing to embrace for the 15th of June and other dates that the world sees changes.
The 15th of June is when non-essential shops are to open again therefore the British being the British, or any other nationality are likely to want to have a break from the isolation of lockdown and go shopping or just generaly go out more.
For the above, I want you to hold onto the Proverb below. I will say why.
The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.
Proverbs 27:12 ESV
I want you to hold onto this Proverb as I predict that things might be quite different after the lockdown eases e.g.
- Many people may have developed mental health problems during isolation and may not be as reasonable. Be vigilant and love them back. Proverbs 18:21.
- People may take it upon themselves to tell you what not to do or what to do when really that is not their job. They think they are being useful but instead they stir up friction. Be patient and love them back. Proverbs 18:21 again.
- Please can you yourself think of other ways that you need to be careful as the lockdown eases and things change again. If you think of it yourself then you will learn it better and also have confidence in your intelligence which is then double prudence.
I hope things will be fine and we should be wise all the time anyway e.g. we play the right worship for Jesus at the right time, we help Others like the homeless with decaf drinks and not money to spend on drugs, and You look after yourself as God loves you.
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; if you scoff, you alone will bear it.
Proverbs 9:12 ESV
You have a better chance of being at peace if you go shopping a few days or a week after the lockdown eases on the 15th. It will be less busy and not a big rush.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
Proverbs 3:17 ESV
Remember that you can always pray for wisdom as:
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
James 1:5 ESV
I also put the word discernment in the title of this post. I did that because at the moment in lockdown we also need to discern what we are reading on the Internet. News and other information on the Internet can be quite misleading therefore to get a better chance of getting the right answer we should type in the same question but get an answer from a range of sources e.g. see what the news about climate change is from three different news websites. This can save getting the wrong information which then saves you from worrying about nothing.
Please think carefully before you make decisions that affect people. There is a bit of deception going on at the moment so just do what the bible says (nothing more, nothing less) and you cannot go wrong e.g. do not be fooled into thinking about what people think of you too much as that is fear of man, instead consider that the bible says it only counts what God sees.
Top tip: when you are out and about in town, put your mask around your lower arm so that when you go in a shop you remember it easily.
Top tip: have a couple of spare masks incase you lose one or someone else needs one (if it is clean and un-used that it).
Top tip: if you make your own masks then use a safety pin on the straps to get a feel for your size. When you have adjusted it to fit you then you can sew the strap.Top tip: put a book in your bag before you go out shopping so that when you are in a queue, you can easily pass the time by reading.
Beware of anyone anywhere who teaches a different Gospel. False teachers twist the bible and cause a lot of problems within society. Stand on the Word of God. The facts.
That is one of the problems or the problem; society is losing its grip on truth e.g. we forget what the bible is saying about traditional marraige and thus one of the main fundementals of society is under threat.
