Your authority in Christ – see miracles

Did you know Christian Brother or Sister that when minions are persecuting you, be it verbal abuse, being drugged against your will or anything else, you can actually use your authority in Christ (providing you have faith) to make them or it stop instantly.

This is why:

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Luke 10:19‭-‬20 ESV

This is how:

Think, believe and mean “in Jesus name I command you stop, in Jesus name!”. Now tap your foot or do something else appropriate to help confirm the belief (e.g. click fingers). Now think “thankyou Jesus they (or it) has stopped, amen”. Believe the Luke verse and wait for it to happen.

N.B; highest faith is praise but you cannot always do that even if you think of praise songs. Think these words “Jesus you are good” and mean it. A more rooted and constant faith comes from knowing the Word. I have said it before and will say it again:

“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
Romans 10:17 ESV

N.B; Click or tap foot but be wise and inventive e.g. clicking your finger in a muscly minions face will give you a nobbly nose if you do not have sufficient faith.

Pray to Jesus that He would help you to use your authority. Persevere and you will get it. He did not say Luke 10:19-20 as if it was not a present for you.

You will see some pretty cool things if you learn this.

Selah, it’s the belief that counts when you do it therefore it can be a “calm” command.

About me

I give advice on Worthy Christian Forums website too.

I struggle with Seasonal Affective Disorder over Winter so please forgive me if I snarl like a zombie. Someone recommended that I should do gentle purring instead. Only being silly but I do get SAD.

I am an abuse victim and run half marathons for

I have been put on medication due to the torment in my mind. This has caused additional problems therefore I meditate and it helps. I would not meditate as a Christian if I did not understand. Proverbs 3:13 is a blessing. Christians do yoga and pilates quite a bit. I do pilates. Christian culture in this country IMO is a bit weary of mindfullness. I do it in faith and understanding given my mental health. Chinese wisdom talks of qi energy flow and other religions call this different things. I meditate (comparable to yoga) to mend the energy flow in my body that my medication effects. I do not recommend this for other Christians unless you have mental problems and also understand it. The faith I have to do it protects me when I empty my thoughts.

  • I do cycling and running daily to keep fit and healthy. I have done the last three Chesterfield half-marathons for charity and have signed up for the 2020 Chesterfield half-marathon. I have done 10k races recently and have registered for more.
  • I do mindfullness for my mental health.
  • I have lots of fruit and veg. I love jackets potatoes lol.
  • I do pilates for my core and chin ups for my upper body strength.
  • I volunteer at a charity shop.
  • I think the NHS is very good and have been a great help with my mental health. I am a high functioning patient.

The pain has brought me closer to God and I have mostly come to know Jesus in suffering.

I believe that if you are going to help somebody suffering, then you should have been through it yourself. Then you understand.

Jesus went through everything for us, so He is the best person to help us and He is God.

Alone and afraid solutions for Corona

Do you feel lonely? You are not the only person who feels like that.

Are you afraid too? You are not the only person.

It might feel like you are the only person suffering at the moment. This does not mean that you are not suffering. Feeling like you are the only one is a symptom of the suffering though so if you realise that there are thousands of people in the same situation as you then it helps to know it is not just you. It helps even more if you pray for them as it takes you out of yourself like a third peron view. Things make sense when you do this well.

You are not actually alone and also, you need not be afraid. Let me explain.

I need to help you believe the truth that Jesus is sitting right next to you.

Jesus is love, Jesus is God and God is Spirit. One of the definitions of God is that He is omnipresent i.e. He is everywhere as He is God. He is omnipotent which means He is very powerful and if someone very powerful is on your team then you need not be afraid.

Well lets say why there is a spiritual realm first so we can do the rest.

If your are fortunate enough be clever from birth then you can look up the “Cosmological argument”. This is where a monk with a big beard has sat at a monastry for a long time with big books, candles and scrolls at his desk to figure something out. If Jesus was taken to court then it would be revealed that He is the son of God. This is how we should decide as this how we decide for other people in this world. If it was a fair case then He would be revealed. The devil has tangled up so much of our thinking though e.g. science as a how for now is positive, but the spiritual why is lost to science’s over use. Philosophers debate that theories we base science on now, were not perfect long ago, thus making an domino effect of wrongness. I believe that a spiritual why like loving people shifts the universe like a living organism and leads to the science how of you being happy, like dopamine in your brain.

Or you could consider things like beauty. Do you think that beauty is skin deep. Do you think that beauty is just things like the shape of a pretty woman’s face and when that model gets home she feels empty for being manipulated by that industry. What about the shiny eyes of a slightly more plump black Momma? Or a medium weight very spiritual African lady. Her beauty is the energy and enthusiasm inside her.

A spiritual thing and don’t forget we are dumbed down in some countries. We will see many more tangible spiritual things in third world countries.

Jesus now. We have been using AD Anno Domini in our calendar for 2020 years and before that was BC Before Christ.

Any historian cannot deny the existence of Jesus but then according to C.S Lewis we are left with only three things He could be; bad, sad or divine.

  1. A tyrant who manipulated people for his own purposes.
  2. A mad man who was possessed.
  3. God. Divine.

The bible’s authenticity far out weighs any secular writing of its time. Check out the statistics from a valid source of its historical validity based on the number of copies of itself.

So the historian then reads in the bible that Jesus Christ died a very painful sacrificial death for people He loved. He is not bad then.

2. He was able to rationalize and use logic e.g. He stunned the thinkers of that time with His answers to their difficult questions.

We are left with number three.

Guys, He loves you very much.

Try praying. Praying will work if your heart is true. Genuinely ask for His help. Can you think how true your heart would be if you were in desperate danger e.g. hiding from a violent person. Trying to find help when there is no other way, believing that Jesus is also there in that situation.

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5 ESV

Jesus can comfort you. Ask Him in prayer for understanding and find rest in Him.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28‭-‬30 ESV

Maybe you will read this and pray successfully e.g. maybe He will remind you of memories of when it was actually God who kept you alive after overdoses or how He collected your tears in a bottle because of the pain that made you do it.

He loves us unconditionaly no matter how naughty we have been (don’t be naughty, it hurts you) so just pray and mean this:

“Lord Jesus I realise I am a human and I struggle with being naughty. You said in your love letter (the bible), that you would forgive me. Please forgive me and help me to be a better person and love my neighbour. Jesus I believe you are God and that you rose from the dead after the cross where you died for my naughtiness. Please help me to cuddle up to you in your warm powerful arms. Please I need someone to help me”.

Read and learn the advice from this blog in order to stay a Christian and keep the assurance, purpose and significance this brings to your life in Jesus Christ.

Don’t just taste the gift and fall away like is written in the book of Hebrews. Life would become worse than before you trusted in Christ then. I am not trying to manipulate you. Jesus is saying something to keep you in His love. Check out what it says:

Hebrews 6:4-6 NKJV

For it is impossible for those who were
once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become
partakers of the Holy Spirit,
and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them againto repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God,
and put Him to an open shame.

to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God,
and put Him to an open shame.

So if you make the commitment then make sure you do it with all of your heart.

Maintain your faith by learning your bible. Keeping in contact with true, bible believing and loving warm Christians. Keeping the understanding of the cross of Jesus Christ central in your faith. Find ways to go to a healthy church and ask the Pastor for advice. Say to the Pastor that you have just made the commitment to be a Christian and follow Jesus. Keep praying to Jesus and He will help you.

Knowing Jesus is something very special and is from another world. When you realise that you are loved by Him, the things of this world seem different, distant. You think of eternity in heaven where it is just love. There is nothing else that matters. You realise that there is no greater gift that a human can possess.

You have a voice

Do you ever get so messed around and trodden on by this cruel world that you just end up going into victim mode and start apologizing and saying sorry to people that you do not need to say sorry to as they are just minions anyway…

Let me remind of something: YOU HAVE A VOICE

Now that does not mean shouting back at the minions, it means being assertive e.g. rather than saying sorry to someone who is bullying you, instead keep calm and explain in the simplest way possible that you are being hurt by them. If they don’t listen then you are wasting your time anyway.
A few game changers:

1. The best thing best thing if you can is love as it casts out the fear (first bit of the verse 1 John 4:18).

Love them back as they bully you and then miracles happen.

Love is the greatest thing and the demons of fear dissolve.

2. Exercise is a game changer.

1 Timothy 4:7-9 says that exercise is “of some use” but this is after Godliness is made as the main point.

If “physical training” occurs just after Godliness then I think it is very useful.

Running till you get a sweat for good earobic respiration, press ups for upper body or pilates for your core.

It makes you break out of the mental cage of bullying that the minions put you in.

3. Have a laugh as laughter is good medicine. There is a Proverb for that but I won’t bible bash you 🙂

Watch, read, listen to something that you know is going to give you a proper belly laugh.

It frees up your mind so much and you cannot even be bothered to say sorry to the minions, their spell is broken.

4. Read the book called “The Chimp Paradox by Professor Steven Peters”. It has some super ideas on how to deal with people who are difficult e.g. how to be assertive but fair when you are being given a hard time.

Check Proverbs 16:32. A super Proverb.

If you struggle with these things and get home at the end of the day and feel all frustrated, then check out this post about what to do:

Dealing with frustration

You are an individual and you have free will and free choice.

Ephesians 6 practical armor

Ephesians 6 armour is very useful for dealing with visible and invisible minions. I use it myself but I would say that the first part of 1 John 4:18 and 1 John 3:18-19 is super, if you can do it. It is the breastplate of the Ephesians 6 armour effectively.

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear…”
1 John 4:18 ESV

This verse says that love gets rid of fear (the lying little demons from the enemy flee). They are just little imps with big mouths anyway.

A few 1 John 4:18 ideas (not saying you do not do this already) to get those demons packing:

– Even the smallest act of love like a quick prayer with the right heart.

– Saying bless you as if you forgive the person who is giving you verbal abuse. If you can, I cant say I am very good at that all the time.

– I was feeling down and then wrote this to help people. I felt better as a result which reminds me that I need to keep doing it.

“Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him”
1 John 3:18‭-‬19 ESV

Serving God in action  (1 John 3:18) is a big game changer e.g.

– Picking up litter (with thick well chosen gloves). Just do one bag. Your daily 1GT (one good thing for Jesus in the day at least).

– Giving non caffiene drinks and soft food to the homeless. Listen to there stories as they want to be heard and they can be very interesting actually.

– Any other act of service in actions for Jesus however great or small. Be responsible and wise please.

“But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,  so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
Matthew 6:3‭-‬4 ESV

When you give soft, hot food and a decaf hot drink to the homeless, follow the above instructions and you will be rewarded. That is what it says. I believe this as I am a Christian and I am sure that Jesus believes it as Jesus is the Word and the Word is the bible.

Your heart is your motivations so examine it, put it right and then be blessed and rewarded.

Do not go out to help people in order to get a reward but do realise that God encourages love and helping people therefore you will be blessed.

This is if you can manage it at the time. It takes you right out of yourself, God blesses you to encourage more as He loves us and the demons emergrate.

Testing to see if someones chocolate is safe before they eat it is not counted lol.

You can switch fear to excitement in your mind also. Try it, research it….

Sausage roll, oops er shalom 😊
