Do you ever get so messed around and trodden on by this cruel world that you just end up going into victim mode and start apologizing and saying sorry to people that you do not need to say sorry to as they are just minions anyway…
Let me remind of something: YOU HAVE A VOICE
Now that does not mean shouting back at the minions, it means being assertive e.g. rather than saying sorry to someone who is bullying you, instead keep calm and explain in the simplest way possible that you are being hurt by them. If they don’t listen then you are wasting your time anyway.
A few game changers:
1. The best thing best thing if you can is love as it casts out the fear (first bit of the verse 1 John 4:18).
Love them back as they bully you and then miracles happen.
Love is the greatest thing and the demons of fear dissolve.
2. Exercise is a game changer.
1 Timothy 4:7-9 says that exercise is “of some use” but this is after Godliness is made as the main point.
If “physical training” occurs just after Godliness then I think it is very useful.
Running till you get a sweat for good earobic respiration, press ups for upper body or pilates for your core.
It makes you break out of the mental cage of bullying that the minions put you in.
3. Have a laugh as laughter is good medicine. There is a Proverb for that but I won’t bible bash you 🙂
Watch, read, listen to something that you know is going to give you a proper belly laugh.
It frees up your mind so much and you cannot even be bothered to say sorry to the minions, their spell is broken.
